Short Stories

All of my stories can also be found at the Royal Academy of Bards - most of the stories were for either Halloween or Christmas invitational's. They have more authors than most large bookstores. Head on over and check them out, you won't be sorry! - Carrie

Midnight Oil

This was my first (and last) attempt at erotica. Done on a dare, I really enjoyed these two ladies (not *that* way!).

While burning the midnight oil in an office high-rise, Monica and Geri finally take their attraction to each other to new heights.

Returned

Same ladies, different type of story. This one was done for a Halloween Invitational.

During a trip to the Santa Fe mountains for their 3rd anniversary, Monica and Geri stumble across a unearthly mystery.

Just Like Old Times

A very short Valentine’s story about forgiveness and learning to love each other's differences.

Delany is wondering why she allowed her lover Gib to leave over what she realizes was a petty argument. Can they get back together?

Just What the Doctor Ordered

A quick visit with a couple of very familiar ladies, from the book, Something to be Thankful For. This was for an Academy Valentine's Invitational for 2007.

Randi finds herself alone before Valentine’s Day, until a new girl comes into her life. She can only hope that Kay won’t get too jealous when she finds out.

Whole New Meaning

Another short Valentine's Day story.

This is a tiny "prequel" to the newest Lex & Amanda book,

To Hold Forever - just a little view into parenting, L&A style.

At Last

Written for the Academy of Bards Halloween Invitational 2008. For the first time in years, I was lucky enough to work with my wife on a story, and we had a great time with it.

Anne Weston is an overworked, stressed-out assistant producer to a local network cooking show. Days before Halloween when she takes a quick exit from the freeway to escape a traffic jam, she had no idea what she would find. She comes upon a farmer's market, owned by a very attractive Michaela "Mike" Lawrence.

Neither one of them are prepared for the instant attraction, or the problems they trying to meet away from the market.
